Wow Wow Wow! We have nothing but praise for Deans Place and the incredible team who work there. From the minute we walked into the Wedding fayre and paid an initial deposit on the spot, to the big day running absolutely seamlessly, we have nothing but praise to give. Through all of the planning, no e-mail ever seemed too much hassle or an inconvenience, and whenever we popped in or visited, we were always remembered and made to feel special and important to them. We were reassured at every point, and everything from banqueting choices to room layout was carefully thought out and their attention to detail was meticulous. We were always notified of important deadlines way in advance and they made sure that important meetings were held face to face to alleviate any worries. It certainly made us feel reassured, and we never felt that we were “just another” Bride & Groom. The day itself ran like clockwork, every aspect ran seamlessly and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the staff and how well organised the day was. Our high expectations were by far exceeded, and both Katie from the events team and Jo the Banqueting manager were on hand at every moment with smiles and a friendly manner to make sure we were okay. The food was to the exceptional standard we have grown to love as we visited Deans Place in the run-up to the Wedding, and again our guests were blown away by the quality – one even saying it was the best piece of Beef he had ever eaten! The wedding breakfast was served efficiently and promptly and it did not feel that tables were waiting for a long period to be served. A big shout out to Chris for announcing us and getting everybody’s attention for the speeches! We could not have wished for a better day and venue, and we hold a large part of that due to the hard work of Katie and the wider team who helped on the run-up to the wedding and on the day itself. It is certainly a venue we now both hold very dearly and would recommend this incredible place!
From the beginning the team at Deans Place Hotel and in particular the events team were brilliant, from initial meeting and showing the venue to booking and making adjustments for the day! Jo was fantastic throughout the later planning and she also was there to make sure the day ran well..and it could not have been smoother! She liaised with us as we made alterations and amended guests as we got closed and some changes were made. We had some good meetings where the entire day was planned out with how we wanted it and also accommodated other arrangement such as my best man needed a projector for his speech…There package was great and included so many little things that you can Do without having to collect and buy for a single use on a day and took some of the pressure of planning away. They worked closely with all of our other professionals who were involved in the day to ensure they were set for the day. Again Jo and the team were very calm and dealt with informing myself and changing things around seamlessly over the day. The food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it from what I heard. The day was so nice and even though my wife and I didn’t stop moving it didn’t feel chaotic or hectic at all, and there was always someone around to get us another drink or a chair for 30 seconds! Thank you to the whole team again and we will look forward to returning for our anniversaries!
We had a fantastic time at our wedding and it was all with the help of the staff at Deans Place especially our Wedding coordinator Katie. Katie made sure we had everything we needed for our special day and was always available to answer any questions we had. The food was outstanding both at our wedding and the breakfast in the morning. The rooms were comfortable and are currently being refurbished. We would defiantly recommend a stay here and also a function as well as a meal. Katharine and Alan
I would just like to say thank you for everything you have done for myself and Amy. You have been fantastic throughout and made everything so much easier for us. You were amazing on the day making sure everything ran smoothly and keeping everyone calm and relaxed. We had an amazing day and would 100% recommend Deans Place to anyone. All my friends and family said what a beautiful amazing venue it was and since we first came and looked around 2 years ago we fell in love with it and knew this was the best place for our special day and you and your team just added to the specialness!
